Have you ever wondered what it looks like to go through a renovation project with LM.Designs? Here’s what the process looks like, in just 7 easy steps!
Step 1: Contact Us
If you’d like to learn more about whether we would be a good fit for your project – kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, mudroom, or any area that includes cabinetry – the best place to start is our website. Check out our past work in our portfolio, read about our services, and take a look at the FAQ page. If you’d like to move forward, reach out through the contact form on our site! We will email you more information about our services and fees.

Step 2: Initial Consult
We will meet with you in your space to get to gather more information about your project and review your project goals, wishes, and budget. This meeting typically lasts an hour. The Initial Consultation fee is $120. We will provide you with a cabinet estimate after this meeting.

Step 3: Design and Construction Planning
If you choose to move forward in working with us, you will purchase the design and construction planning package. We then get started on your customized design concept! We prepare visuals of the design concept for you to see what we envision for your space and allow you to make changes. Once we have a general design, then we can meet with a contractor to get a construction estimate. The planning package includes a project scope and basic dimensions for the contractor to provide an accurate bid.

Step 4: Material Selections
This is the fun part! During this stage you will choose materials such as tile, flooring, countertops, hardware, lighting, etc. If you are not already working with an interior designer and choose to purchase the materials selection package, Lisa is happy to assist with these selections. We are able to provide resources that the general public may not have access to and facilitate pricing and lead time estimates.

Step 5: Ordering and Fabrication
Our cabinetry is designed and made specifically for your project. Upon purchase, we order cabinetry using your project’s exact measurements and specifications. We provide dimensioned plans for the contractor and subs to follow. We work with your contractor to schedule delivery and cabinet installation.

Step 6: Implementation and Oversight
In order to ensure that what we’ve designed is what’s implemented, Lisa will check in periodically to be an extra set of eyes on the construction site. She is available to meet with contractors and trades such as electricians, plumbers, etc. to communicate design information.

The final step: Enjoy your finished project!
After all the renovation dust has settled, it’s time to enjoy your finished design!
If you’re ready to get started, reach out through the contact form on our website and we’ll email you more information! We look forward to finding out more about your project!
