Germantown, TN
Lisa put her space planning skills to work in her own home, creating areas made for easing into the day peacefully, savoring family dinners, and relishing arts and crafts projects and cookie baking sessions with her young son. By removing a wall separating the kitchen and dining room, Lisa opened up the space visually and incorporated a breakfast area. This one change also created room to add much-needed storage and counter space. Opening sightlines to the adjoining living room was a game-changer as it allows Lisa to watch her son play and interact with her family while she cooks. Though the laundry room and half-bath didn’t call for such drastic interventions, Lisa refreshed both spaces, making them more functional, more attractive, and more pleasant to spend time in.
